Mr. Winfred M. Williams

Winfred M. “Poo Lu” Williams was born fourth of five sons on November 4, 1975 to the parentage of T.C. and Willie Marie Williams.  He entered eternal rest on February 10, 2026. 

Winfred grew up in Panola County and graduated from Carthage High School in 1994.  He was a member of the Carthage High School Bulldog football team.  He also attended Texas Southern University, Houston, TX. 

As a youth he was baptized and served in the youth choir at Elysian Fields Baptist Church. 

As an adult, he relocated to Fort Worth, Texas.  In November of 2013, he had a previous marriage to Colnesha Tucker and no children were born to this union.  At his demise, Winfred was employed by Texas Heat. 

He was preceded in death by one brother Donald. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Cameron, two daughters  
Alayah and Sparkle, His parents T.C. and Willie M. Williams; three brothers, Carlton, Tyrone and Lawrence; one sister Trikeia; three grandchildren, Shiloh, Skyler, and Esquire and a special friend Tameka Hollins
