Kathy McAlister

Kathy McAlister, 71, of Carthage, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025. She was born on June 11, 1954, to Grover Charles McAlister and Nittie McAlister.

Kathy had a love for quilting and loved wearing jewelry. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Cecil William McAlister.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Truday Wright, along with seven other children; her brother, Cecil Charles McAlister; her sisters, Norma McAlister, Linda McAlister, and Paula McAlister; and a special cousin, Jack Lee McAlister. Kathy’s life and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to New Life Outreach Boarding Home for caring for her during the tenure of her life and, Panola County Nursing Home, and Hospice Plus for their compassionate care, support, and kindness during her sickness.
