Georgia Lee Rabb- Lewis was born August 7, 1952 to the late Pearlene Rabb and Willie Rabb. She was the third eldest of their seven children. She departed her life on November 20,2024, in Dallas, TX.
Georgia attended L.G. Pinkston High School and later received her GED from Dallas County Schools. Georgia was a former member of Emmanuel Temple Church of God in Christ under the late T.L. Young in which she and her sisters formed the gospel group, The Rabb Sisters. Georgia pursued a career in modeling and later became a successful entrepreneur. Georgia was full of life, loved to sing and be fashionable.
It was known that Georgia had an infectious laugh. Albeit as beautiful as she was, she was one tough cookie. Georgia was a protector and by any means would not let anyone she loved be hurt. She was loved much more than she thought.
Georgia leaves to cherish two daughters Martha “ Mona” Williams and Shelby “ Trinette” Williams both of Dallas, TX, three siblings Dollie Mallard, Debra Mathis, and David Rabb,seven grandchildren Quita Williams, Mahogany Moss, Sorrhea Kay, Montra Pearson, Kerrhea Kay, Malcolm Moss, Devarea Williams , one great grandson Corbin Williams-Harmon, a special sister in Christ Linda Dotson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Georgia was preceded in death by
her parents Pearlene and Willie Rabb, siblings: Willie “ Sambo” Rabb III, Jessie B. Hearn, and Henry James Rabb, children Felicia Moss and Jervae “ Peppi” Winans, grandson James Darnell Williams, and husbands Jessie James Williams (d. 1970)and James Lewis, Jr (d. 2015).
