Dalvin Lynn Brown

Mr. Dalvin Lynn Brown, the second youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Brown, Sr.  & Lyda Mae Brown was  born September 7, 1956 in Waskom, Texas. At an early age, Dalvin united with the Strickland Springs Baptist Church where he was baptized. Dalvin – playfully known as “Adabo” - loved his family and friends.  Often the “life of the party,” he loved to dance and pass the time playing dominoes.  He was also a skilled mechanic and a great conversationalist.

At the age of 66, Dalvin Lynn Brown departed this life on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.  

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, three brothers—L.C. Brown, Jr., Lonnie Brown, and David Lloyd Brown, as well as a sister, Reva Brown Cheatham. Dalvin leaves a host of friends and relatives to cherish his memory including two brothers — Samuel L. Brown of Shreveport, Louisiana,   and Philip W. Brown of Waskom, Texas, and two sisters, Nettie Brown George, and Faye Brown Armstrong, both of Dallas, Texas. 

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Strickland Springs Baptist Church, Waskom, Texas. Viewing 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Friday, April 7, 2023 at Black's Family Center, 2308 S. Washington, Marshall, Texas 75672. 

Interment Strickland Springs Cemetery, Waskom, Texas.
