Averil Wallace Obituary

Averil Wallace affectionally known as “Shannon” to some, was born November 11, 1965, to Marvin Allen Eagleston and BJ Phillips in Vernon, Texas. She departed this earthly life on June 18, 2021.

Averil was a caretaker that had a heart and concern for others. She took in a group of kids that others considered “Misfits” as her own children and they adopted her as their second Mom.

She was a loving, wonderful and kind human being.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughter, Amber Poage (Colby Strong); her mother BJ Phillips; her brother Allen Eagleston; great niece, Ashley “Colli” Martinez; great-great nephew Revan; her adopted children “The Misfits”; many relatives and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all that loved her.
