Obituary

Annie Marie Thomas was born on August 18, 1948 to Willie Robinson and Ruthie Mae Robinson.

At an early age she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.  She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Woodlawn TX.

She received her formal education from Pemberton High School in Marshall, Texas.

She entered into holy matrimony with James Thomas Sr. at an early age and were married 58 wonderful and glorious years.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family, loving and being loved by them. She enjoyed cooking and traveling.

She departed this life on Saturday February 8, 2025. She was also preceded in death by her father, Willie Robinson; mother Ruthie Robinson, sisters: Willie Mae Robinson, Rosie Mae Dunn, Alice Hodge and Louise Brightman.

Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her loving husband: James Thomas Sr. children; David (Linda) Thomas; James Jr. (LaTisha) Thomas; Tina ( Dale) Stoker; Darnisha( D'Angelo) Pouncy; Charles (Ruddie) Thomas; grandchildren,; Raven Thomas, Asia Manning, Taylor Patello, Tyler Haggerty, James Thomas, Jamesielle Thomas, Charles Thomas Jr., Faith Thomas; 7 great- grandchildren; sister; Ruby McCowan; brothers; Gary Robinson and Tommy( Bubba) Robinson; half siblings Terry Whaley and Cassie Whaley and a host of family and friends.
